Now, I usually tend to dislike my old art - it often ends up looking sub-par to me, because (hopefully) I improve over time, idk. But I was browsing old entries at my lj and found this one from 2006, and went all "aww!" about it. I don't remember why I thought about making Flitwick art. Here's the old description:From left to right: Sprout, McGonagall, Flitwick, Sinistra, Trelawney, Snape and Dumbledore. They're all cheerful because hey, who doesn't love Filius? Except Trelawney, who is jealous of Sinistra because Snape is flirting with her, MWAHAHAHAHAH! I love the idea of this triangle. It would be also the occasion to write/draw a lighter Snape, without all the angst for once.

i love how you've depicted everyone! i especially love the way you've drawn flitwick as he tends to be tricky for some people to draw, (especially with WB's unhelpful depiction of a brown-moustached bowl-cu t choir teacher...errrrg >:/ ) i also like how everyone seems so young & happy. its nice to see the pre-war era & to be reminded that there was a time in which things were actually going well for the wizarding world.

I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the era between the two wars is pretty much uncharted territory in Harry Potter canon AND fanon, which gives it potential, I think.

While this is 'old' art and added some time ago, but I enjoy your HP art so much. Your Snape has and will always be my favorite and I always get a fuzzy feeling when I see him

Merlin's beard! Snape is smiling! XD And it's not wry or grim smile.
Love this scene. Nice, peaceful. Shows that the staff members were not always occupied with traching and struggling with the outside world (Ministry issues, the war with Voldemort etc.). I also like that there is Sinistra present. I like her, despite he exist only in a few sentences in canon. With dark hair she is close to how I see her in my imagination.

The way you portrayed Snape is totally dead on!!!Everyone should have the common sense that people like Snape aren't always sulking and frowning and everything!!!In front of his students, yes...but elsewhere...? Mah, devo dire che quando sono arrivata al settimo libro la potterite ormai mi era giΓ un po' passata, quindi, a parte prendermi la soddisfazione di dire "te l'avevo detto!" a tutti quelli che mi prendevano per matta quando dicevo che secondo me c'era un passato comune tra Lily e Severus, mi Γ¨ rimasto abbastanza indifferente
