I've been seeing it in various videos on youtube, and I always stopped the vid so I could stare at this beautiful, wonderful, perfect picture again and again! Actually, I'm just searching through the whole "Sev/Lily"-pics only because I wanted to find this pic... Yes, I'm a bit crazy but... who cares?!^.^v Well, anyway... now that I found it I'm happy!^____^

"Canon" is whatever comes from the cource material - for instance, whatever is explicitly written in a book; it's a "fact". "Fanon", instead, are the assumptions made by fans that become some kind of estblished fact of their own. For instance, Ron/Hermione in Harry Potter is a canon ship, while Sirius/Remus, albeit very popular among fans, is fanon.
