Hey everyone, got one last new pic before I resume my Moon/Sun series, and this is something I've been planning for a while.

Vanity's given herself a new look! Now this isn't to say that her old, typical Gardevoir look never existed. In fact, she actively changed her look so it would be like this. How, you may ask? Well if you're interested I got a little explanation in regards to why I think its possible for Gardevoir (and the rest of its evolution line) to change their look like this.

So I always found it weird how the Ralts line is part of the Amorphous egg group and not the Human-like egg group despite their VERY human-like appearance. This combined with their strong connection to humans, particularly emotional connections to trainers, made me think that the Ralts line evolved a human-like appearance to better fit with them. However, it's not just that. The fact it is in the amorphous egg group, and the elbow-extension that Gallade has shown, makes me think that the Ralts line is capable of limited changes to their body shape, with the red crest/horn being the only body part I imagine being solid. As the Ralts line is likely capable of some form-changing, I imagine that Gardevoir and Gallades would alter their physical appearance to fit their trainer's personal preferences. For this reason I do imagine SOME Gardevoir would boast more human anatomy if their trainers prefer such, and would cause protests in terms of letting trainers have their gardevoirs boast such features.

In regards to Vanity, as she does not have as strong of a link with Dylan, so her new look does not in fact reflect Dylan's personal preferences. She actually decided on her own to change her look, having it suit her more dominatrixy personality. As to why she wanted the change? I've got a few ideas, but I won't say. It may come up in a future story, so who knows.
