Dex Entry (thanks to ~BleachFan2010 and ~Winged-Wasabi ): Olmagon have extremely slippery skin and can squeeze itself into crevices in caves to escape danger. Its divided paws and tail lets it keep its balance. They are sensitive to bright light and do their best to avoid it. Instead they prefer the darkness of the cave they inhabit.

Its like an axolotl (I believe you spell it that way), this is one of the most original origins for a dragon type I've ever seen!

I like the dragon newt feel. It is simple and elegant. I can defiantly see this as being a normal / dragon type. The weird tail and feet crease is interesting. The body shape and head crests are just enough to give it a subtle dragon feel.
I think ( by looking at this one ) you would do a good rendition of a blue dragon mollusk inspired dragon design [link] .
