"It's night time, it's been a full day of exploring again, it's time to brighten up the air with for Fox Fire"This time I tried to paint the best I can in digital, and gotta say it did kinda work out. In this artwork I tried to give Shirokia a new armor design that would fit him better, and make sure his Kitsunic powers (like the Fox Fearie Fires) are portrait better.
So I have been drawing and practicing quite a lot the recent times, and really look forward to just get back on track with uploading some newly made artworks.

To be honest, the new armor design looks a bit better. The previous one was cool, but I couldn't help but feel that it was a bit... scrappy: as if it was an armor he had to put together in a hurry. Don't get me wrong, the other one was cool too: it's just that this one looks more suitable to actually protect him.
I would also suggest for him to wear some sort of lower armor protection: that belly looks pretty unprotected, and the hips are easy target there. Afterall, glancing blows directed to the chest would usually fall to the legs.
Also, the sword is pretty neat too: reminds me to some sort of Indian saber, which is pretty good at reflecting Shirokia's oriental spirit (maybe not enough oriental? being based in japan, I would expect him to carry an actual katana?).
Also, woow, actual magic, so shiny... (wait, not alchemy?!)

that is great to hear that his new armor is indeed an upgrade of his older one. To be fair I can agree with you on you statement, the old armor was bit scrappy. Luckily this one is more suitable to protect him.
Indeed, I gotta think of a way to better protect his lower body, At first I think he is just dexterous enough to dodge incoming attacks, but it does never hurt to have some proper protection, so might design some more.
Thanks, Indeed wanted to go for a more Japanese katana, I might have used a bit more references for the sword I admit.
For once showing of the more magical side of Shirokia, while he uses his fox fires. (He still has alchemy! look at the bottle on his belt, but I could not get all the bottles properly done in this artwork so I add them to the next piece.)
