I think this is actually her Yellow version, as seen on sprite.
The updated Brock sprite was also seen on booster pack.
This happened to G/S/C characters like Will or Karen we haven't seen proper artworks (which, unlike R/G/B/Y matched their sprites) of.

Best Misty picture on DA, bar none. How many other artists have actually done the designs Ken Sugimori's way, anyway? When people think Pokemon, they always think of the watered-down anime. Not that I mind anime, but come on...Misty's teh hotness here. I mean, far more than ever on the show. And it's a throwback to her original personality as well. Beautiful, beautiful art.
By the way, do you plan on doing the other Gym Leaders? Don't take that as an obligation or anything; it's just a thought. You'd make them look awesome.

Hmm. I see some problems with the anatomy: Her right shoulder looks out of place for some reason (yes, I'm aware of how difficult is to draw that kind of pose) and the back of her left leg is a bit too pointy. But the colouring is neat.
