With a tender hand, she lifted her arm and slipped it upon the nape of his neck. Caesar shivered upon her touch, and complied without question when she pulled his head down closer. Their brows connected and she gently pressed into the touch, feeling the comforting warmth he provided swell within her. The simian lord felt the pick up in his heart's pace, and he heard the blood rush through his ears. Caesar closed his eyes slowly into the loving embrace, and he lethargically wrapped an arm of his own around the small of his mate's back. His nimble fingers melded into the curves of her loving hips, and smooth 'S' curve of her spine, holding her possessively in place against him. Cornelia felt herself give in and melt into his body, resting her head upon his shoulder after several silent seconds. The only sound heard was the breathing of the two parents, and of the light snore of their dreaming infant between them. Caesar brought his lips upon his queen's temple, smooching her with tender care."
