Shiver was flung sideways by a bone-bending shockwave. The heat chewed at her grazed and battered body as she crashed onto the training room floor. By the time she could open her eyes and gather her senses, the sky was raining with streaming purple drops of death. She leapt to her feet and flicked her tail defiantly.Β
Shiver threw herself into the hot hailstorm. She twisted and dodged each crackling orb as it brushed along her lithe figure. Her brother's silhouette appeared through the dazzling shower. She gritted her teeth and pulled back her fist. She burst forwards with a yell.Β
Bitter's instantly dropped his splayed hands and whipped with his tail. Shiver blocked it with her forearm. The second she did, her brother's fist drove into her midriff.Β
Shiver howled as the air rushed from her chest. Dark purple blood spattered Bitter
