Heres my tryout!!Im gonna add a little story soon bUT for now a little summary:
Otho wants nothing more than to help Rue to the best of his abilities. Being a guard really fits him, and gives him a feeling like he's really helping Rue keep the empire safe, especially after the attack, and feeling a bit useless since his complete hearing loss.
He's gone completely deaf, but despite this he'd be a good guard and is more than willing to be a first responder to anything. Likely the first to get cubs and apprentices out of camp during a disaster, and likely the most willing to jump into danger for an empiremate.
He's invited former mentor, Zhar, and close friend, Lati, to walk with him around the camp for a quick check of the surrounding area before settling at the highest point of the camp to watch over their camp. With Zhar and Lati acting as Otho's ears.

I cant submit this as a tryout till the gathering, but thats okay XD I wanted to get it up before then so I wouldnt have to rush once the gathering journal comes up.

I love their expressions Otho looks so serious and ready for anything ahhh!! Zhar is so proud of his apprentice, Otho has really encouraged my snowie boy, you could say they helped each other a lot I think <3 thank you so much for drawing Zhar!!

Otho's growing up too fast ;u; Especially with Aeden's capture and the stress Rue had to go through he felt the need to step up and protect his family more than he'd been able to before.
I adore Otho and Zhar's relationship. I see them being very close, and Zhar likely being one of the few cats Oth would go to with his troubles.

Aww he's such a precious boy, Zhar would definitely want to be there to support him and encourage him! My big softie is perfect for comforting others... He's one giant soft floof inside and out XDDD.
