I saw this one on tumblr earlier today, and I'm glad I can add it to may favourites on dA now as well.
I'm in Europe, so no game yet, but it's art like this that makes me excited to one day being able to play the game.

It's a good thing Fire Emblem doesn't follow D&D's rules when it comes to using magic while in armor, otherwise he'd be hopelessly unusable.

Actually, that would be even worse. Β Nerd talk time: D&D has something called an Arcane Spell Failure Chance for when you're trying to cast Arcane Spells, the magic your typical wizard use, while wearing armor. Β The heavier the armor, the higher the chance of failure, and just looking at little Leo there, he's rocking fairly heavy armor. Β Moreover, depending on the situation, a wizard may need to make a concentration check, and failing that check also means losing the spell. Β Once such situation is casting while riding on a horse because of the rocking motion. Β Combine the two and you would have one very ineffectual spellcaster.
Thankfully, none of this applies to Fire Emblem.
