This is actually a prize for =nadare-sama who won my february contest....i'm sorry! ><
It's her shiny Umbreon Jace....well, shiny FLYING Umbreon. Yes, it's ARed. No, I don't mind.
Although he had little cartooony wings, I really wanted to draw actual wings....cause I feel like it.
I know their's a few things that bug me but overall I really like it, especially the background.

Awww, so cute! The feathers are nice and the eyes are really good, too.
Couple critiques. I think the lineart could be a bit crisper... it's a little think. I also would like to see the background a bit lighter or something. I think it works well as a night shot... maybe just add some blue next time. It can be a tad difficult to make out a black character who is against a black background at times.

That's what I was thinking too....once I was done with it 
I think the background came out alright, but then again, the computer I use has a rather bright screen so it's easy for me to see light diffrences. All I really did was create a black background, then get a felt pen, put it on like, 10 opacity and went over it in layers to get a light to dark look.

Well, I can still make it out well enough, it's just I know some computers can make things a lot darker and I just thought you should be aware of it. Something I've been trying to work on myself.
