Dang Inko’s packing iron! No scratch that, she’s packing Diamond encrusted titanium! Now I know why Inko and Mitsuki were friends growing up, heck Inko must be where Izuku gets his strength and muscular genetics from.

Glad to see she has gotten stronger and she has gotten some of her younger look back... But I hope she mainly wants to help her son still.

This is REALLY awesome! The combination of extreme physical changes AND mental changes is just awesome! Plus this is super creative! Inko volunteering for this procedure to help Deku is fantastic! Awesome work!

Because we can’t have female characters that aren’t unrealistically skinny for their age and in inappropriately sexualized costumes for once. Jesus Christ, if you consider this an “upgrade” I feel sorry for you.

Nah, this is pretty clear objectification. It’d be one thing if it was just called “Inko Midoriya Before And After Surgery”. It’d still be fucked up but at least then I could kind of shrug it off. But implying it’s an “upgrade”, as if the only way to design a good female character is to sexualize them to hell and back while making them conventionally attractive...
Then that is ALLLL kinds of fucked up

I take it you're one of those new-wave Internet warriors who believes that beauty is an evil social construct propagated by the media. Good for you, but please keep it to yourself.

Beauty isn’t an inherently evil social construct. If you wanna look beautiful go ahead. I’m not stopping you. But when you redesign a character not meant to fall under the standard conventions of ‘attractive’ to try to make them more conventionally attractive (and its a female character in actual normal clothing that you force into unnecessarily revealing clothing) and you frame it as an ‘upgrade’, that says a lot about your morals as a person.
Fictional characters don’t have agency. They don’t dress themselves, they’re not even sentient beings. They are entirely at the whims of the author. If the character says, does, or wears something it’s entirely because the author wants them to. And in a series rampant with objectification of its female characters already (even a worryingly high amount for its student characters) the LAST thing we need is for Inko to suddenly start dressing like this.
Also, beauty as a concept isn’t inherently pushed by the media but what is considered attractive definitely is. Inko’s adorable as is, she’s not ugly just because she’s not super skinny and dressed like a stripper. And also, even if she was, a character’s worth isn’t at all directly tied to their attractiveness.

I don’t have to keep it to myself jackass. I’m free to comment on anything I want. This comment section isn’t just for asskissers that are totally okay with objectification of the only female character in MHA I can think of that isn’t sexualized or objectifies even once

I can think of maybe two female characters including Kyouka who aren’t sexually objectified, and one of them is Eri.
You realize that Yaoyorozu’s sexualized outfit entirely came from the author, right? The in-universe explanation came second, he just wanted to make a character as scantily clad as possible and thought of the reason later.
I know the artists don’t HAVE to listen to my criticism but if a woman is telling you something is sexually objectifying and gross and misogynistic, and you go “Psh, So? I don’t have to listen to you.” it sends a very negative impression to that person of you, and possibly the entire anime community

Except that the author was also in control of Momo’s quirk. He could’ve just as easily given her a completely different quirk that didn’t require her to be half naked at all times. And even if he absolutely HAD to keep the quirk as is he could’ve designed a costume that wasn’t as fucking sexualized.

Thank you!
Although to actually address the other portions of your comment I hate what SAO did to Asuna by repeatedly having her reduced to fanservice. We can’t ever have a strong female character without her being damseled for the male gaze

I like Asuna as a character but I honestly cringe whenever they try to do anything with her because almost all of the time after the original arc it’s just “have her be kidnapped by the man and almost kind of r*ped by the big bad guy”.
