First finished drawing I've done in ages. I like it, tried a few different things on this.Spyro the Dragon on the Playstation was my first video game, and was what inspired me to draw. I wouldn't be here without you buddy! lol

To be honest I like all Spyro BUT Skylander Spyro. I don't hate it with a passion (anymore) but it's not actually Spyro. More of a thrown in character to make a few bucks and change as much as they want because they can. Some people don't like The legend series, and that's okay, but I feel like Skylanders totally changed everything and doesn't really make a lot of sense. Especially since they are incorporating the legend trilogy in the timeline apparently...
I got it. In my opinion, the whole skylander's thing is like a childish fanfiction. I like the idea that spyro and cynder don't die at the end of Dawn of the Dragon, but randomly showing up in a place that references the sky (like heaven) and thinking of totally different storylines with a really weird antagonist is well.... childish. There's no real logic involved.

I honestly don't hate the skylanders thing, I have no knowledge of it, I just know that I still love and remember the legends.

It's nothing fantastic to me... I actually gave it a chance. Doesn't have the same charm, if you wanna put all the other stuff aside.

Getting 100% in those games wasn't very difficult, but you felt like royalty.

OMG Yes! I've literally played through Spyro the Dragon over and over again because I could ACTUALLY complete it 100%! The others I did play to nearly 100% before getting agitated or something lol. I didn't like some of the stuff in Ripto's rage and year of the dragon becase of the puzzles and some of the side jobs, but the two after that never made me not want to... finish them...
Not to be harsh. A hero's tale was an alright game and I played a good bit of it, I just got tired of it after a while. Like I kinda said about skylanders, it didn't completely have the same feeling for me. Enter the Dragonfly was really low on my bar though... I literally just played it for a bit then messed around with the glitches. lol I guess I liked the legend series because it was new and fresh and made things cooler and deeper. Where other games seemed to just add on to something. You know?

I have those too! I got my first playstation 2 from a yard sale so I got spyro, crash, and rayman all in one bunch!
I had the first spyro (might have had the first three by then, not sure) but when I found out about Dawn of The Dragon I literally skipped most of the other games and went right to that. I'd probably say that the first spyro and dawn of the dragon are my favorites.
I've got literally all the games you can buy for playstation systems at this point. hahaha I either bought them or got them from a friend. I've got the first skylanders on the wii, but it didn't keep me entertained like the other games for some reason.
This is making me want to go play my ps2! lol
