I'm only glad I'm not the only one, but I'm not glad (and regret those last words), that they suffer from it too.

paranoias a bitch. i (no lie) think my cat is out to get me... (it seriously feels like he calls me an idiot behind my back...) how i came up with that logic, the world has yet to know.

Ha...as much as I don't want to admit it, I have a serious paranoia issue. It's been getting slightly better recently, but not by much. I still constantly look over my shoulder, I still stay away from other people as much as I can, I still hide alot of things about myself from others(including my family)...ugh...I deal with it all the time.
And also: "Paranoia causes intense feelings of distrust"
That would also explain my horrible trust issues. ._.
I swear, I always make myself sound so sure of myself and the people around me, but I never am...
Amazing artwork.

Even if it's meant to be paranoia, this really hits home with my social anxiety disorder; all the bad thoughts/opinions you think others are having about you.
Awesome work!

Really good interpretation, just one question. Is it in your own style, or did you use a specific style?

I love the picture, it really shows how scary it is.
One of my friends has slight paranoia, she thinks people are watching her in her house and she get's really freaked out by it and sometimes blocks herself from people...

I've got some serious paranoia issues; I understand the whole blocking-people thing. It gets pretty crazy. And really embarrassing later on.

;C I use to be extremely paranoid that people were talking about me behind my back because people HAD talked about me behind my back at school. All thanks to Weaver I lost a lot of that paranoia, but it still catches me sometimes when I have CTE classes.

People STILL talk about me. :< And no one sticks up for me. I hear about it later when they tell me "Well, we were talking about you in fourth, and we decided that blahblahblah..."

Paranoia is appart of everyone's life, mostly
to the people who make the 'victim' feel small
about themselves and think less and believe them.
Paranoia may lead to Suicide I have No Idea,
but I do know Paranoia makes you feel on Edge.
I like it c: You must've spent hours making this.

At first I thought all of those words were shaped like wings.
Then I read the comments.
...Man am I retarded.
I honestly cannot relate to this picture, I'm a very optimistic and always happy kind of brat lol. I have had paranoia about ghosts and monsters that were out to get me when I was little though, but other than that nothing lol. This picture does capture paranoia perfectly though, and personifies it's meaning very well.

Mmmhmm. Since depression and paranoia go hand in hand so well, it gets really nasty... it's usually just ~MalePregnancy who snaps me out of it. It's a weird feeling, honestly. You go straight from wallowing in self loathing and hopelessness to "What am I doing?" Lucidity is just so weird at that point.

Yea, it's evenn worse when you get over it for a bit and feel really embarrased.
But then i usually fall right back into it again >.<

Heheh, I've been raised by a psychologist. I can't deal with therapists anymore, I can ALWAYS tell when I'm benig psychoanalyzed. I know a lot about hypnosis, too. Guided imagery has always been good to me, though. =w=

I used to suffer from this constantly. Cost me quite a few friends, too, although it did also make me realize who my friends really were by who stuck through it. Luckily, I've managed to get a hold on it, though it still crops up from time to time. I love the representation in this picture, how it seems like the subject is being attacked by their own thoughts. Which, technically, they are.

Polyhexian In reply to Omega23 [2010-12-08 23:53:31 +0000 UTC]
Indeed.
I think that actually knowing it's a disorder afflicting me, it's easier to deal with. Because I can tell myself it's just in my head, and I feel better. Not great, but not as bad. Doesn't always help though. I think it's the whole bipolar thing that had me develop paranoia. =w= It's.... not fun.
