Okay so all you's guys has been asking me about this larping thing I've been up to lately. So anyway just to satiate your insatiable comments, LARP means "Live-Action Roleplaying." Ever seen Role Models? Yeah, that's LARP. It's got a pretty big stereotype of fat kids or nerds dressed up as wizards and shit running around in the woods. It turns out that while, yes, there exist fat kids dressed as wizards running around in the woods, this LARPing thing basically requires MAD SKILLS. Legit. I built of so much muscle from just a three day event. In fact I think I pulled a muscle in my leg pretty badly, I've picked up the tiiiiiiniest little limp. Not enough to see, but enough to piss me the hell off every time I notice it's there lol.
Anyway what I'm saying is props to the LARP. You've got to be fast, and strong. And you have to be a freaking math wiz to count up damage WHILE someone is smashing you with a sword. You've got armor health versus regular health and certain things only do life damage, so you've got to keep both numbers in your head simultaneously, as it's taking damage and as you're running, parrying and dodging blows.
Anyyyyyway, I specifically, play a Shai Fighter (rogue/Thief/Assassin, whatever you want to call it) named Imbri. Apprentice to Kalitas Nurrod, an Assassin marked by the Hetrial (angel) of death. I'm a Brendylian, which is basically human, except with crazy dream powers. But yeah haha, it's crazy fun. My first day they gave me a mod (Like uh.... like a mini event, i guess? urk, explanations.) and I was like UHHH oh god I just want to observe and learn I'm not ready for this ughhhh oh god what do I doooooo.
