Contest Entry for #LoveOCs 's "Draw Our Mascot Contest" ([link] )
Wish I had more time to polish this piece. Due to the craziness at work and my sickness earlier this week, I ended up having only 1 day to work on it (no excuse) but within the short period of time working on her, I already put forth my best effort and I'm happy with the result.
After submitting this piece at 5am, I saw a lot of things which need a lot more love. Especially anatomy and effects, I usually spend similar amount of time working on FX (since I'm a visual effects artist
) but I was on the verge of passing out at that moment (LOL), personally I'm dissatisfied with the screen and digital fx (they don't look 'digital' at all)I know it was tight schedule... But drawing Eva and entering this contest were what I had been wanting to do and I might update something after the contest ended.

Your entry is great!! I like how you added the "very-hi-tech-floating-screen" plus the dark BG and her name.. Those things add up to her character being a somewhat "digital lady" (or whatever she is..

Too bad the very-hi-tech screen was the last thing I touched before passing out, now I look at it, I should have spent more time to make it really-digital looking

For only having one day to work on it, you did amazing! I can't get anything done that fast, haha! I love the pose you have her in, and the way she's looking directly at you really draws you in!

I like the bluish glow on her eyes, ornaments, etc.
If you add more blue reflection and other corresponding lighting
to her body, it'll look even more atmospheric.
Her right hand seems a bit large (at least for my tastes) >_<
As a whole, for a quick drawing it's very pleasant.

Wish I managed more time for this piece and I agreed totally with what you said, anatomy needs some more love (especially right hand and left shoulder), it lacks atmosphere lighting and I'm not satisfied with the props and effects at all (need more screens thing and the one I had there looked dull, not cool) ... no excuse, but by the time I submitted this piece it was 5am and I used up all my energy already XD
