History/Backstory: Serendibite is a gem with vampire-like and bat-like qualities. She can echolocate, allowing her to see in dark environments without her gem glowing to go unnoticed and turn invisible to sneak up on fugitives. She is a gem from the court of Blue Diamond. Her mission was to capture Rose Quartz. Prior to the Rebellion there weren't many fugitives so there was not much need for Serendibites. As such there weren't many of her gem type. She was promised a Pearl of her own in exchange for the he capture of Rose. This is where Eyeball got the idea she could too get a pearl if she were to capture Rose. Serendibite rushed to Earth to follow and retrieve Rose. She promised herself she would not get distracted and fall for the beauty of this planet like the crystal gems did and would stay focused. The thing is Rose seemed to just disappear for periods no matter how hard she tried to follow her. This was due to Rose still being Pink some of the time and returning to homeworld. While on Earth Serendibite ended up inspiring the legend of vampires. She also discovered music. They had balls on homeworld, but Earth music has so much more passion even back then. One day while stalking Rose she found an injured baby bat and thought it was adorable. She tried to keep walking, but couldn't do it. she picked up the bat and vowed to rescue it and hide it once she got back to homeworld. She heard a twig snap on the ground and when she turned around the renegade pearl had been pointing her sword right at her. She cowered, but heard a second voice say "Pearl wait!" and Rose stepped out of the shadows. Serendibite cowered and figured she was about to be shattered, but instead Rose just asked if she needed help for her new friend. This was when Serendibite joined the crystal gems. If she were a rebel and homeworld had found her, they never would have shown her that kind of mercy. She was corrupted into something resembling a Zubat from Pokemon until SUF.
Romantic Interests: She subconsciously likes Kevin bc she has a thing for trying to "heal troubled people" and thinks she could "fix him". she is not aware that's the reason she puts up with him, but it is.
Personality: Serendibite loves rock music, concerts, bats and vampire movies. She has a phobia of snakes, despite that they can't technically hurt/kill her due to being a gem. She loves to eat AND rub it in human's faces that she can't gain weight. She loves pranks and jokes. She loves rehabilitating injured animals that are not snakes and sometimes even emotionally damaged people. She hangs out with Lars, Greg and sometimes Kevin. She kinda has a romantic attraction to Kevin she doesn't want to admit to even to herself. She also hangs with Amethyst a lot. She hates doing math or science. She loves sports, but only when she's playing. Not watching. She hates snooty uptight people and gems. ESPECIALLY humans.

"At least gems are naturally uptight by nature. Humans can choose to be anything they want so why choose to be mean and boring?! Does anybody even actually like that high end stuff or do they just pretend to for some sort of weird bragging rights?"
