General bio: nova is a complete oddball. She can be extremely dark depressing and scary one minute and a flower all loving hippy the next. When she was a child she was very very close to her mother and strangely shyed away from her father, she now keeps her distance from both. On the other hand she is trying to become closer with her father and has an occasional reading session with her mother. She has inherited being a bookworm. Nova is still unsure of who she wants to be, so decides to just see what happens. Her magic is average for her age but she does not particularly mind. She often gives wise advice yet does not always follow it herself. Although she has trouble socialising her friends and sister help her out , even if 95% of the time it is ineffective.
Nova is very protective of her sister dusk and has a strong bond with her and often has to stop her making stupid decisions.
Although ponyville is her home, she was schooled and spends most of her time in canterlot, often socialising with the princes, she manages to get along better with boys than girls.

Relationships:

Pluto and nova have been good friends since they were tiny, Pluto looks up to nova and has a massive crush on her but she is completely oblivious. Because star swirl disliked her name Pluto decided to call her nova and it stuck. Pluto is probably nova a best friend

Nova is almost like a second mother to dusk, teaching and caring for her while also having fun with her, they are basically inseparable.

She had a small crush on archer before she found out he liked somebody else (she must keep it a secret) but they remain friends, archer is the main pony to show her how to socialise and party

Nova is one of the few people atlas will let speak to him, she somehow manages to deal with his grumpy nature and they often complain and become emo together

Orion is like a big brother figure to nova and she is one of the few ponys he shows his true personality too. She also tutors him a lot to help with his lack of knowledge, in return he plays pranks on her.

Nova has a pretty good relationship with all the pie children, especially esmerelda who taught her how to make daisy chains and how to relax pinkies son is also trying and failing to teach nova to bake.

She has an odd relationship with flurry heart which is made of a mixture of affection and awkwardness given they have nothing in common

She has a cute and cuddly relationship with fluttershys and rainbows son but disapproves his taste in men and absolutely lot he's his boyfriend riptide

Novas cutie mark is a dream catcher, given she has varied aspirations, likes to help her friends achieve their life goals and the only are of magic she's talented in is viewing people's dreams, like Luna. She is also very strong often doing the hard tasks around the home
