Hello there guys! It's been awhile since my last... well... anything, I guess.It's been awhile since I wanted to draw a Digimon fanart, well here it is, and it's even for a good reason (ish). It is for a contest of You can find the contest information here .

So... if you check on my Anime list or on my recent favourites (well ish), you'll see I've become kind of... addicted to this Magical Girl series called PreCure. When I saw there was a contest, I jumped on the occasion and decided to draw the girls as PreCures (kinda like Sailor Scouts in Sailor Moon) and then, I realized I couldn't draw their faces (blame my incapacity at redrawing at 100%. So I decided to give them helmets. This made them look also like Power Rangers... but hey, I'm proud of what I did right here. I REGRET NOTHING!
The girls decided to dress up as Magical Girls. They decided to also match their Magical Girl transformation form/clothes to their Digimon. These girls fight for... um... well... Digimon freedom and treats, I guess.
From... Left to Right, here are:
- Digi Gato (Kari) with her Lightning Punch (her gloves)
- Digi Hawk (Yolei) with her Feather Slash (her swords)
- Digi Pal (Mimi) with her Poison Ivy (her whip)
- Digi Biyo (Sora) with her Spiral Twister (her staff)
Fail-with-naming-no-jutsu!
Basically their "Mascots" would be their Digimon, and their Transformation Trinkets would be their Digivices. I guess what they would scream out (as transformation sentence) would be something like: DIGIVOLUTION, but I haven't thought that far yet. Just... if you ever see these girls, give them the treats, you don't want any superpowered tricks played on you or your house in the middle of the Halloween. xD
Technical wise: it's the first time I EVER use the pen tool to do ANYTHING, I understand there MAY be HUGE mistakes. I understand but I'm still proud I was able to do that now I kinda understand what tried to teach me all these years...! xD

But yeah, I thought you already knew that Toei was the producer. Also the very same that did Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon, Zatch Bell, and such. Speaking of which, they've recently filed a trademark that might be the title for the next series. It's called... Doki Doki! Precure/Heart-Throbbing! Precure lolwtf. (source: [link] )
Nice designs (I spy modesty shorts and chest ribbons ). I find it crazy that, after all these years since I last watched Digimon (third season), I can easily remember the names of the characters in your drawing. That means you did a good job at redesigning and keep important traits that makes them recognizable. Wish ya luck for the contest.
Halloween wise, I guess we'll be handing out candies only. As much as I would like to wear a costume, I think I'll leave that part for Otakuthon only, when I feel like cosplaying.
