Description
So this will be my 2010 project. Perhaps even the project for a lifetime. I call it "Parts of Perfection" and it's about capturing the timeless beauty, spirit and grace of the Arabian horse.
You might wonder where I got the idea from for such a project. Well, I went through a really really bad art block last year and it almost lasted for about half a year (to me it was like an eternity). It was so depressing and I wondered what was actually the reason for my unabitily to draw… so I went back to the roots. It was a trip to myself, a trip back to a very young 14 years old girl who started drawing because of the fact that she could not take her eyes off the arabian horses.
I realised that this whole thing started because of my love for this breed and decided to start a new try.

My goal was not to come up with a flawless piece of art but to capture the atmosphere and the undestroyable bond between the mare and her foal… nothing else matters.
