Pixar Cars fanart crossed over with Monsters, Inc., because I simply couldn't help myself.
I'm not sure what's going on here, other than that Mike is revelling in being next to such an awesome car (being a car buff), and that poor Lightning McQueen is totally wierded out by the thing leaning against him. Oh, and whatever's occurring here, Sally was apparently in on it. I didn't dwell on the events involved too much, which I feel guilty about now, but oh well...
Prismacolor and Sakura technical pens on 11 by 14 Bristol board. Go figure.

I like it :] You've probably gotten this before but I'm too lazy to read through 70 comments... There's something strange about Sally... The front half is great, but the rear... is okay. There's also the roof of the Curios which doesn't seem right either...
Nonetheless, I love the colours.

I love traditional art. Digital is great, but looking at your page and this drawing in particular helps me realize how much I still love old school pencils and paper. Keep up the great work. If you ever need ideas for drawings I would love to give you some. I can't draw for beans, so I have all these ideas that will never be realized! Do you play videogames? I'm asking because I think the style you draw would be great for certain video games/cartoons.

I rarely play video games, but I'm an animation fiend. It's actually the field I want to go into. So, I'm quite flattered that you think my style would work for cartoons! Thank you also for your compliments on my medium of choice. I actually do some digital art as well, but the main disadvantage of that for me is that it gives me an oppurtunity to get TOO picky, and so it takes me absurdly long to finish anything. >_< At least with traditional art I'm forced to keep a certain ammount of self-censoring aside.

It makes me GIGGLE! I love how much personality you gave the cars. They are much more anthropomorphised than mine. You got that "walking" effect in there. Righton.

well, thanks. You know the Oak Creek picture? I'm so proud of those rocks. I only used reference for the 2 large rocks, the rest are made up. And all the trees are made up.

If I made rocks up for that scene, they'd be blobs. And the trees would be clones. You're soooo good at plants and rocks from imagination. Like, I can do good if I copy a plant from photo or observation EXACTLY, but otherwise it just doesn't work for me, and that saddens me.
