August 2008This is part 2 in a short story arc. (part 1 is here [link] )
Yeah I know, it's been a long pause in between comic strips. Sorry about that. I've been pretty busy.
Pip really needs to do something about his viking urges to burn and pillage churches.
These short comic strips are just quickly done doodles. They're not really my usual quality of art, and I wasn't trying to put too much work into them.

Heh, yeah, that's our faerie rp. Oddly it makes sense because Chrysalis can turn into a butterfly, and shrink itty bitty as well. She likes to eat sugar, loves Alice in Wonderland and tends to hang out in the garden as a butterfly. lol (In the original rp she was hiding in the vents as a butterfly until Flinch figured that out and kept crawling through them trying to find her to apologise.)

That...is really not a good idea. I mean...air ducts that are big enough to crawl around in? Seriously, imagine the kind of Nervosa that would be in there!
Fortunately the Child of Gaia Gift "Spirit Friend" can effectively emulate enchantment (according to Book of Lost Dreams). Of course, to a Garou, taking damage from a chimera is like taking damage from a spirit.

It was a pretty safe place. I had to change some of the background/setting due to it would need pages and pages of backstory, but when the whole 'bug larvae' thing happened it was in a lodge at a Child of Gaia/Sacred Hoop Wendigo caren. (Well, the island is owned by a Pugwis, the place had such energy that she allowed the garou to open a caren there. It became a dual caren of performance and healing (much like healing native drumming circles). They have a big lodge/hall/hotel on the island where groups would pay for weekend healing retreats (before the caren was opened), but now it's used mostly by the varying supernaturals that visit or live at the caren.
Anyhoo, the place is pretty darned safe for fey to live. ^_^ Although the Out Crowd motley only visits there from time to time, lately they took on a job working for the Glasswalker don Paul in Vancouver. (Pip actually had the motely make resumes to apply, which were just hilarious. My husband has talked about writing up Pip's resume and posting it on his DA account.. with things like Balder as a reference, and varying trophies he's taken from his enemies as 'past awards/accomplishments'. XD )

Yeah, fae and Garou tend to get along rather well if they can come to an agreement on a site. Fox and Rath were involved in the Caern of Gaia's Last Hope, a combined Freehold/Caern.
In order to bypass a lot of the umbral traps the BSD's set up, they used the Dreaming as a workaround to get an understrength pack in on a rescue mission.

Sadly I don't usually have time for requests, but if it's one based on something that I tend to draw anyhow (ie. my characters/comics etc) I tend to think back to the suggestion when I'm trying to think about what to draw next. ^^

If I have a chance to pop her into the background of a comic I'll do so. ^^ We keep wanting to start an actual, carefully drawn, storyboarded webcomic at some point. These ones I have on here were like doodles and simply comic strips compared to what we have planned. It's just a lack of time that keeps holding it back.

yeah but ill drw her base and post it so you can kinda see what here base is shes a Artc tomboy super hyper fox who has one girly weekness her shyness to a boy asking her out but she does like bye boyfriends characcter and hes a red cap named Natheniel but she again is shy around boys she likes and again weird arnt red caps and pookas naturally enimes yes but she doesnt care and the lake of time i can understand i have trouble with it to but i you can manedge YAY but if not i understand and all is well friend

Lol. We thought it would be funny to put in some strange, but actually decent places that Chrysalis would hide. She turns into a butterfly and also has the ability to shrink really tiny, so she actually could be anywhere. XD
She also does hang out in the sugar bowl from time to time.

Rath (Seelie Fiona Sidhe): Hey Fox, there's a posting on the Kithain chatboards...something about a raid on a church.
Fox (Child of Gaia Ahroun Homid): You're serious? Why post it?
Rath: It's something big. VERY big. This guy's asking for volunteers.
Fox: How big?
Rath: The Vatican.
Fox: ...Let me call my pack and get my klaive.

XD Oh my gods, I laughed so hard that I think I startled my husband. It's so funny because it's SO TRUE! lol That seems exactly like something that could happen.
Funnily, since they got back from Arcadia (huge, system changing RP that happened in our home game) Pip's been looking for volunteers to help him conqueror Alaska. We've had descriptions of him in the background, with varying fey in a war room, maps of Alaska, little war pieces. We even had a game with one of our packs in Alaska when the Red Talons officially joined the Maneaters, and in their pack is a troll who is allied to Pip, who kept trying to ask questions that nearly had them arrested. You know, things like 'so how large are your Alaskan armies?' 'Do you have decent protection from airships?' etc. XD

Gerard (Euthanatos Mage, long-time ally of the Gaians): "Perhaps I could enlist some additional aid. Maybe the Mythbusters would be interested in doing another Alaska special."
And even then, there's also the inevitable...
"Remember how it was legal to shoot wolves from the air?"
"Yeah?"
"There's a problem. They've started shooting back."

I love drawing Driabhar. She's so lanky and bendy, I can put her into the most fun, un-realistic positions. She likes to hide in cupboards.
