Wow, it's difficult to really shade something white into a dark/shadowy background. Flinch seems to nearly glow. O.o

Profanity is censored out, and the violence is offscreen so it shouldn't need a warning.
(I'm not sure if a couple drops of blood and a missing tooth need a warning. >.> )illustrated with a wacom tablet in adobe CS3 Poser used for pose refs.

^_^ I so badly need to get back to working on this comic. The more I put it off, the further behind it gets because we're still RPing the characters, and are over a decade ahead of the comic now. lol

Having played and run quite a bit of Changeling myself, I'd say you definitely display them well here. I'd love to see more of your comic, perhaps even on a site where you can read through them more smoothly. I know I am not alone in this, either, as I was shown this by a friend. Keep up the terrific work!

This result is like seeing a Child of Gaia going to fight. They're not prone to killing everything that moves, but when you give them a sound reason...they can outfight a Get.
It's like seeing that critical ignition point between diplomacy and combat, and this Nocker going over that edge.

It's both so fun, and so difficult, to draw Flinch's crazy, bulging eyes. It does give him these amazing expressions though because of it. lol

Heh, due to her usual surly looking demeanor (or wicked grins) shocked is just an odd expression for her.
Pretty much why. I'm mostly just playing it by ear for how to show them, mostly by the focus of what/who is in the frame/box. Such as if the faeries were say.. in a restaurant: if they were talking with each other they would be drawn like faeries, but then if the waiter came to talk to them and the focus was on what he was saying, suddenly I would draw them human.

That's an understatement, believe me. O.o Flinch seriously never puts that wrench away, he sleeps cuddled up to it like it's a stuffed toy. And even his closest friends aren't allowed to touch it without repercussions.

XD I've actually told Pat how that song makes me think of Flinch. lol Along with his slew of other quirks/insanities he has this object fixation with it, and pretty much never lets it out of his reach. Once, to punish him, Chrysalis said that she claimed his wrench and was taking it. It took maybe about 90 seconds before he pretty much frenzied on her, tugging at the wrench and screaming 'GIVE ME MY WRENCH!!' over and over again. O.o
