*added more coat colors 3/14/14*

I didn't know wolves came in such a variety of colors till I started getting some pelts. I figured at first they were all like...balto-ish colors XDD No two wolves are alike! Each are unique in their own way.


Most of these wolves are referenced from Glacierwear and Moscowhideadfur lol..

*edit* wolves can also have white tipped tails and also a light stripe going down their backs.

this is a lovely reference!!! i'm gonna be using this for references when it comes to making some natural colored beans~ alot of the colors are so goregous aaAAAAA

this proves that wolfaboos are wrong about wolves colors, they have alot of varients and they dONT HAVE DAMN CRESECNT MOON MARKINGS ON THEM

This is wonderfully informative! I've got to check out the sites you used, I'm interested to find out if wolf color variations have names to them just like dogs or foxes do. (ie a silver fox, marble fox, cross fox, etc)Β

Yeah! Those types of wolves are soo hard to draw XD. Kinda like She-wolf, she's got so many danged shades even though she's common-colored..can never really color her just right ugh XD.Β

Not many. I've just heard a few being called tawny, black, white, grey, blue, platinum, stuff like that..
