I ain't even mad, since hoarding OCs is kind of my hobby
SO YEAH, this time creating my THIRD OC for this group but at least now it's female :'D
Plus the deadline for this is at 2nd of March, SO MADE IT (since i won't be home at 2nd-3rd whoops)
also apparently the fullbody I managed to draw was way too small for original blank app so had to resize it and sharpen with PS whoops. ignore the quality ;o;

As odd as it sounds, Mei is into both classical and hip-hop kind of music. She also enjoys simple pop, but most of the times prefers music that is more fit to dancing rather than ballads.

Her biggest dream most likely would be to create songs for famous kpop groups or maybe even collab with her international inspirations. But for starters, not to look big, she would be happy to achieve a collab with the youtuber stars she adores.

Personality.
Absorbed - whenever she gets a tone or melody in her head, she wouldn't pay attention to anything else while trying to transfer the melody in her head to her laptop she always carries with her.
Creative - it doesn't take much for her to come up with something
Perfectionist - mostly goes to her creations, she doesn't like her work to have any parts that are wrong, even if it's teeny tiny one. It bugs her way too much and she might even stay up whole night to fix what is wrong.
Out-going - she loves spending time with people that she considers friends, but isn't as brave meeting new people that doesn't look very trustworthy or just overall are intimidating.
Mischievous - most of the times loves to do small mischief to the others, like spooking them out of the corner or innocently pouring salt instead of sugar into friend's coffee/tea.
Perceptive - that goes mostly about other person's mood, whether they are in the mood for interaction or mischief from her or whether she should leave them alone.

There are times when she could be completely exhausted from all the interactions and communications with others. That way Mei would lock up in her room, curl into the ball and either sleep/laze around or watch movies, spending time completely alone, that way charging her self for further communicating next day.

History.

-Preschool-
Born in immigrant Taiwanese family: even if both parents were born in Taiwan, Taipei just like her, father's father was originally from Korea, Mokpo.
She was the only child most of her life, but there was a neighbor right next door that was born in about the same time as Mei was, making him girl's best friend and almost a brother figure.
Her parents weren't the richest which is why they couldn't plan second child - it would simply be too hard to care for all of them. Meiling never went to kindergarten, was taught alphabet and other things at home, together with her best friend/neighbor by Mei's mom who was elementary school teacher.

-Elementary School-
Mei and her family decided to move to Korea, Mokpo, to her great-grandparent's house at first in hopes to live better life in that country. At that time Meiling was only 5 years old, perfect to start attending elementary school. She had difficulties at first, cause learning new language for a small kid was a lot harder but during the years she managed to get a hold of it pretty nicely. Even if they lived in Korea already, Meling still communicated with her parents in Taiwanese, not wanting to forget her roots and native tongue.
While she was attending elementary school, her parents were working two jobs each, trying to save up enough for later comfortable living. While doing so, Mei's father was promoted in his job, earning a lot more than he usually did which let him drop his second job. Around year later Mei's mother also found better-paying job which let the whole family breathe easier.

-Middle school-
As the years passed by in the school, Mei slowly found her interest in music. At first she tried her best to sing, but being tone-deaf no matter what she did, girl decided that maybe her call wasn't singing. Maybe her call after all was creating music for others to sing. And that was indeed what she did a lot better than expected. During middle school she learned how to read and write note sheets which made her life easier if she wanted to make the music in her head to be heard by other people. She also asked her music teacher to teach her at least how to play piano; Mei later on spent her after-class time in music room, playing songs again and again only to learn how to play piano properly before attempting to create something with it.
She also received her first guitar for her 13th birthday from parents since they saw how their daughter was invested in music; of course it was second-hand guitar, but girl still treasured it to bits.
After she graduated from middle school, her father got a suggestion for another promotion if they moved to Seoul. Being promised better pay and even a good-paying workplace for his wife, whole family moved to Seoul during summer before Mei had to go to High School.

-High School-
Having in mind Mei's interest with music production, mother searched for schools in Seoul that had that kind of department and found Serendipity's High School. After talking a bit with Mei, both agreed that girl would go there to pursue her dream; it also helped that both parents had stable jobs with good pay so Mei could get new laptop and a launchpad to get more into song writing at school. Since she lived in Seoul, Mei didn't need dorms as she commuted between home and school with local buses.
At first she wasn't very brave when she got into school, but soon warmed up to Oh Namguk as he was around her age as well as Hyuntae, that way having some sort of company during lunch breaks.
Mei also uses her free time in between or after classes in school's provided studios, full of equipment for music producing that she doesn't have home.

-She's completely tone-deaf when it comes to singing. Sure, the melody she creates might sound amazing, but she can't sing. Na-ah friend. Most likely why she's constantly looking for people to sing the demos/songs for her.
-Has a sphynx cat that has dwarfism/pygmy syndrome. Mei rescued it from the breeder who wasn't happy with the newborn and wanted to toss it away. On the other side, the cat is very cuddly and searches for any ways to cuddle on Mei's lap.
-The trusty tiger plush Mei has came all the way from Taiwan when she was almost a baby. She still loves the plush but most days it's stolen by the cat and used as its bed.
-Her grandfather is fully korean, making her father 50% korean 50% taiwanese and Mei being 75% Taiwanese and 25% Korean.
