History:
Life wasn't so bad when June was living with her family out in the open waters. She actually enjoyed most of her time there! She was thought by the other sea otters on how to craft small tools to play with and to open sea shells with, it wasn't an easy task but it was fun nonetheless.

The fun had to stop someday right? There were stories going around among the otters that humans were picking some of the otters one by one and bringing them to god knows where. Until it was the time for her to get picked up along with some others. It seems it was because the sea otter was listed as one of many endangered species and was brought to the Ushimitsudoki Aquarium to live the rest of her days there, so the otters could be protected from hunters.

It was weird, she lived in this open water for most of her life and now she is here. So many changes... But June stays positive and hopes for the best.
