Haven't drawn anything TT related in a while... but this was too good to resist.I recently had a lulzy debate with a diehard BB/Terra shipper, over on one of my other Slade/Terra images. She kept insisting that Terra and Slade were not a couple, and that it was disgusting to think so.
I, of course, pwned her with my knowledge. Yes, they were a couple in the comics (which, of course, she never even read.) And I told her the lovely fact that the TV show writers wanted to make Terra have a crush on Slade originally...
So, I made Slade and Terra say these lines in one of my replies, and she thought I was disgusting... even though Slade having a package is true. He has a gorgeous bod...
My attitude was well, it's canon, so eat me.
Blech... I failed hard at Slade. I'm so sorry.

P.S., This isn't meant to peeve off BB/Terra fans. The fact is the series wouldn't exist without the comics, and in the comics, they were canon. So, they still are an official pair in the eyes of many TT fans.

I think if Terra had a crush on Slade, he would be able to manipulate her a lot faster and with much more ease, and she would have probably been more reluctant to turn on him.
At any rate, Terra is irredeemable shit in the comics.

Can you please direct me to a link that proves the writers wanted to make Terra have a crush on Slade? 'Cause I would've LOVED that! Why do TV execs and censors have to get in the way all the time? WHY?

I can't remember where I found it. It was long ago when I found the link... but the creators said that they wanted to keep the relationship between Terra and Slade. And when I read it, I was all like, "YES!! IT WOULD'VE BEEN AMAZING!!"

Seriously, they already made Slade something of a pedophile as it is, and teenage girls having crushes on older men is totally not unheard of. I'm sure they could've pulled it off!

Personally, I am a BB x Terra shipper, and I still have hope for the pairing in the show, considering that, IMO, they left it open, but, that's just me.

I just love these two and since it still is canon (as the show wouldn't have been made without the comics), I think it's amazing.
The show's Terra was more innocent and made my appeal for Terra/Slade even better... because she wasn't as much of a bitch.

But wasn't the comic Tara a bit older than the one in the show, like about 16, 17? I know that the Terra in the show, as well as all the other titans, weren't really specific on their ages, but I figured show Terra was younger.
But yeah, I could see both working, Slade x Terra if she'd stayed evil, BB x Terra if she'd stayed 100% good and hadn't betrayed them in the first place.
