I got doodling random stuff for no reason, and all of a sudden, I found myself wanting to draw an image of Pauline/Donkey Kong love.I failed so hard at DK, I had to use an image for reference, and go back and fix him up every now and then. Pauline was easy as pie, of course.
Now, I know some of y'all probably find this weird, but yes, I ship Pauline/DK. I don't know why... I just love them together.
And I know he's an ape, but considering how an old dinosaur-lizard fart/father of eight has the hots for a human princess, this really isn't so bad. For gosh sakes, we have toadstools in diapers roaming around the land!
Besides, it's like Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit to me. I just love them together.
And remember, Pauline found DK adorable in the March of the Minis game.And if you don't understand the title I chose, it's based on the famous line from King Kong: "T'was Beauty killed the Beast."

Personally, I don't see anything 'eww' about it. Donkey Kong is closer to being a human being than an ape and might I add, more of a gentleman around Pauline than most human men would be. Besides, I think it's safe to consider DK as a person not an animal. Plus, the way you portray it is tasteful and romantic. Not fetishy. I like it.

Mario/Jumpman was a carpenter originally.
They later made their own guy for the DK game, Stanley the Bugman... who looks similar to Mario, minus the hat and facial hair.

I have noticed that in recent years the more DK gets intergrated into Mario's universe the more they try to fade Candy out in favor of Pauline, just like how we're not suppose to notice how Tiny Kong went from small to TALL
