Description
I liked this one.And since I guess it's necessary to say,
this has zero meaning to it. Mmkay?
So don't read into it at all. There's nothing to be read into.
It's the result of me feeling the desire to take photos, not having any models to release my artistic anxiety out on...
thus using myself, again. Yep, I know it's boring and useless.
I don't care. I get satisfaction out of it.

somehow the face seems very two dimensional to me, interesting. i like the shot.

The thing that stands out most to me in this picture is the colour of your eyes. They contrast beautifully with the deep red of the blood.

I did enhance my eyes in PS so the iris was a bit brighter, it just seemed to work perfectly with the nature of the photo.

I like it. I know that you didn't have a meaning in mind, and I saw the other comments, but it still has meaning to me. I think art is suppose to be like that, not having meaning to some people but moves others... That's what makes art so beautiful... It touches something inside everybody differently (or not at all). Art is never useless... It's a way of getting "it" out, whatever "it" is. I wish you lived on the other side of the U.S.; I love your work and wish I could model for you sometime. I typically take pictures of myself for the same reason. Anyways, great job, and I can't wait to see more images!
P.S. I guess I should correct myself... This image doesn't have an explainable meaning to me, but rather a feeling. I hate trying to fully analyze a piece.

I'm not sure the title is much related with the photo.. Ive connected the word "fragile" with broken not with blood/wound.
Im not sure if you ask here for a critique comment, but also the white make up on your face doesnt look real enough to give the effect that you probably want to, because your skin color is visible under it.

Im just guessing here so ill go for the simplest explanation. I believe you wanted to appear with a psysical pale/white skin, although, the thing is that im pretty damn sure that if you wanted to actually appear pale in the photo or plain white, you would have succeed that. Now it only has the "flour" effect. So, i cant say for sure why you did this. I can explain the blood though, it looks like you spit blood, like someone hit you or you got hurt(psychologically) and you spit blood from the inside. Thats why the fragile title.. too fragile to handle being hurt. Psysically.
But these are only guessings im not really in your mind.

It is two layers of white face makeup. I intended for everything to look how it looks. The only reason I chose the title "fragile" was because sometimes when I'm uploading my new photos and looking through them, words pop into my head as to what to name the photos if I submit them to DA. That is the case with this photo.

In the future if you want to criticize my work I have no problem with that.
I understand not everyone is going to like everything I submit.
But try not to read too much into my photographs, unless I give reason to read into them.
This wasn't put into the conceptual category and the description was not detailed
and did not have an explanation. Therefore, what you see is what you get.
If it makes you feel something, then great! If not, then don't worry yourself with it.

Usually photos must have a deeper meaning so you people can see or feel different things into them, i mean of course the artistic ones, and i remembered that you wanted people to give you a full critique on your work and not only the "wow you are great" comments. Thats why i tried!
It doesnt really need to be in the conceptual category to have a "deeper" meaning. But if that suits you then i wont give my critique again if you dont give a reason in the description, i suppose.
