These are 4 photos that I am going to use for a school assignment.The assignment is to select a song and use its lyrics to develop a kind of concept for writing 2 poems and taking 4 photos.
To say the least, my assignment is rather controversial and maybe disturbing.
But the lyrics really hit me and the images came to me almost immediately, so I sketched out and they came to life.
Depicted are issues we see in daily life:
drugs, suicide, restraint, and blind faith [all things that are talked about in the song I chose "Mr.Self Destruct" by NIN]
This photo depicts restraint.... it can be a general restraint by society or it can be whatever it is to you. But in the end, we are never truly free.
Something will always hold us back.

It's not actually mine, it belongs to the person wearing it in the photo.
I think she said she got it at a thrift store or something like that

oh ok, i ask cuz i have a hobby called Urban Exploring where me and my friends go to explore abandoned buildings, and some of my more hardcore urban exploring friends have masks to prevent against harmful substances that can be breathed in from old buildings... was wondering if either of you two were into that stuff.
but it's a cool piece nonetheless

The eye is freaky, which definately helps add to the sadism in the image, very nice
