I sadly never got to experience Eggman Nega; I actually don't even know what game he's from. Was it Sonic Advance?

Eggman Nega is from Sonic Rush for the Nintendo DS. He was from the Sol Dimension, a parallel world to Sonic’s. He teamed up with Dr. Eggman so the two could conquer each world and it was up to Sonic and Blaze the Cat to defeat them.
Eggman Nega’s origins later changed in Sonic Rivals, where he was rewritten as Dr. Eggman’s descendant from the future. This is the current canon backstory for Eggman Nega.
I’ve never played either game but I hope to get Sonic Rush and its sequel Sonic Rush Adventure some day.
I do prefer Nega being from a different dimension, so that’s what I write him as for the alternate universe my fan characters live in.
