Description I'll get Gimp back soon, really.

Well, ~Dragon--Dance put up a beautiful tribal absol tutorial, so I decided to practice some on my own. I didn't feel like posting an absol quite yet (translation: I couldn't get absol's pose right and momentarily gave up) so I practiced with Zoroark.

I know, my pose is stale, and it doesn't fit together quite right, but as an attempt I don't think it's all bad.

Well done! You've really taken in the tutorial and made this look amazing!
By the way, if you are struggling with any poses then feel free to request a lineart I only do them for #TheTribalPokedex members and they're completely free

Thank! Normally I'd take the offer to get lineart instantly but I really should just practice my own. Eventually I gotta get the hang of it! Thanks again for the tutorial, too!

You're very welcome

It's fine to practice, even if you just redraw a lineart, it's still practicing. Personally, I feel you shouldn't start drawing your own poses until you're completely comfortable with doing so. Or if you just have enough confidence in your drawing abilities to just use a group of reference images and make your own pose that way instead
