"What? What about that Whale Rider shoot," I text back, ignoring the fact that I wasn't involved.

"Well, that was fun. But I saw this cool picture and we should do it."

Damn, that is great. I'm annoyed that she said I don't make cool art, and almost cast Madeline or even tracked down Crackers, but Madeline said I should remember Ryan is young and doesn't have the best social skills. She didn't mean to insult me, she was just enthusiastic. Sigh. Why is Madeline right so often?

We don't have a car like that and after Ryan spent so much of MY MONEY on that Dymaxion space van thing, I wasn't going to buy a new one just because she demanded it. But we had those badlands raider vehicles in storage, so…

Daz scouted the location and pulled the truck out of storage. Ryan picked her own wardrobe. Iray did the lighting. Photoshop and Nik, Jr. handed the processing. Special thanks to kaktuzlime for the fantastic illustration that inspired us. Hell, I set up mirrors so I could superimpose Kaktuslime's painting with what I was seeing in the camera to match the pose and angles as closely as possible. This is practically fraud.
