Ryan was soooo excited when she found a hoverbike on Etsy. Both Madeline and I tried to convince her it was a scam:

Ryan, it's Etsy—it's all about crafts. Nobody would sell a functioning vehicle there

"Sweetie, listen to London. Also to physics. If that thing flies, it can't have any range. Also, if somebody made a functioning hover bike, don't you think the Verge, Buzzfeed, and, you know, everybody in the entire tech press would be having massive media orgies about it?"

Ryan was not deterred, and once again proved far more…I don't even know if smart is the right word for being obviously naïve, but being proved right…but whatever the word is for that. It's like she lives in some kind of parallel universe where the rules aren't always enforced. Or in a Hollywood blockbuster. You guys have heard of that ridiculous theory that we all live in a simulation, right? If Ryan being able to spout wings and a tail, plus the whole fae thing Madeline has experienced with the Time Transmographier hadn't confirmed it, maybe Madeline and I need to reconsider in light of this working out.

I'm going to test it: I wish I had a paloma cocktail in my hand right now.

Damn. I still live in the real world. Maybe Ryan doesn't.

Daz found Madeline a real flying craft that doesn't violate the laws of physics, even if the avionics are more complicated and probably dangerous than a 737 Max. Iray brought in a huge truck to provide enough lighting to make this early morning shot work. Photoshop did her best to fix the grainy negatives. Fog isn't your friend, my friends.

Ryan might have a hoverbike, but that doesn't mean she can ride it. I was going to pose her with one hand on a handle, but she's too short to sit in the saddle, put her feet on the pedals and grab the handles. PAs have such a bias towards Victoria-sized people!
