this surreal/ impressionistic acrylic painting w/ glazes, and chiaroscuro effects - was done during my halcyon hollywood days of the mid 1990s , and reflects my melding of fantasy and pinup commercial art -here the 9 goddesses/muses[ one unfortunately iz out of frame here ], are being born into a nether world in various stages of  birth development to be the muses/ spirit guides  to a nu crop of crazy genius artists much like you and me , lol !! THE CENTRAL GIRL IZ BY FAR THE MOST DEVELOPED AT THIS PHASE, and ready to hatch from her 'cocoon',,, -AND WAS PATTERNED FROM A 1940S PINUP GIRL POSE BY THE GREAT ALBERTO VARGAS , who i so admire -!!![ the other girls -not entirely formed yet are in the exact same pose] . RELATED PAINTINGS I DID AT THAT TIME ARE : {PUNKS IN PODS , AND THE RODNEY KING PINUP], AND THERE JUST  IS SOMETHING SO SEXEE TO ME ABOUT SEEING   A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN MODEL BEING HATCHED FROM A PROTOPLASMIC EGG POD , LOL, LOL !!!![something like in the 'ALIENS ' MOVIES , perhaps?!}
