Love it.
I was wondering, though. Does the base image this is cut from have a significant amount of space on the top and bottom? I was thinking this would be a good background for my tablet, but in landscape mode, android cuts off a not-insignificant portion of the top and bottom. it makes it hard to find good wallpapers.

Gah, I know that feeling...
The source image is 800x600. You can the non-edited, full-sized one here: [link]
It's possible to reformat it to fit a tablet, using the proper tools. I could try, if I knew your screen dimensions.

By the way, that's a verbose way of saying, sure go for it.
Here's a site that describes how Honeycomb handles wallpaper [link]

After that last message, I'm quite certain that I'd mess it up beyond recognition.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
the native resolution for Honeycomb wallpapers is apparently 1920x1408 which gets cropped down to a (on my device) 1280x800 region (based on which home screen you are on).
You can use any size image for the wallpaper, but if you want to get a full height, it needs to have a width to height ratio of 15:11 or wider (so theoretically any desktop wallpaper would work, though the sides, would obviously get cut off. The current image is wide enough to get full height crop, and the left side is nondescript enough I wouldn't worry about having some cut off). Assuming you have an image wide enough to crop to full height, in landscape mode, the top and bottom quarter of the image will get cut off. That's the reason finding wallpapers is so hard, the object of interest needs to be in the center half of the image but most good art fills the canvas.
The linked image has Rin top to bottom, so her head would be cut off, which is not good at all. if you can manage to preserve the background while making Rin only 3/4 of the height of the image, you have much better photoshop skills than I.
