Wow - nice angle, and i love the stark contrast. And yeah, add me to the list of those who want one for their yard.

Cool, I love the stark whiteness of it against the dark background. You have just enough shadow on it to make it look 3D, but alittle more just to add some extra detail wouldn't go a miss. Don't know if that was because of flash, or what. But the contrast is what really makes this piece - bold and beautiful .I like the cropping, makes a good composition

great composition!

Inverted colours? changed contrast/staruration?

praetorianguards In reply to CarlesReig [2005-07-15 18:57:54 +0000 UTC]

haha. yup! thanks for the comment! its actually only inverted. i didnt have to play with the saturation or contrast because the sky was a bright white and the clouds in the bottom left corner turned that brownish color when i inverted it.

Chillaxing. Haven't heard that one before. I'm not as "with it" as I used to be, I guess. But I am quite familiar with bumming. Rock on,

Your angle choice really gives this statue a dominating powerful appearance and the background skies intensity adds to that. -Kia Lola
