The average autogun is neither heavy nor innacurate.
They are bulky certainly, but only because they fire oversized caseless slugs (the real reason autoguns deal almost as much damage as lasguns is because their bullets are fucking HUGE since you don’t have to worry about the pesky casing taking space)
So your concept would sacrifice bulkiness, and maybe weight of the larger bullets, for a lighter and more comfortable design at the cost of raw stopping power and penetration.

Yes, I used a lot of inspiration from the real-world gun that we have today, especially HK rifles, AR-15s, and ACR like rifles. to put some of this together to make sense of the weapon and how it should function. But the Weapon itself is mostly base off of a miniature bit weapons that use to be sold on Anvil Industry which I used a lot in my own IG army.
