Chapter 6The Escape!
"How.......how did they mature so fast?" Ben asked Rob as he looked at the footage of the aliens and everyone else looked at the aliens in shock.
"It would appear after consuming enough milk the kittens rapidly matured into adults, rather it's because of the nutrients in the human milk or something else such as natural development I cannot say. But once the kittens and the young queen you women on this ship gave birth to are adults there's no telling what they'll do" Rob said.
"But Rob......we still were going to raise them.......we were going to take care of them....." Jennifer said as she was starting to cry.
"I'm sorry.......but the standard young are mindless beasts and the queen is unpredictable at this stage of development" Rob said as he looked at the creatures.
After this Jennifer and Jenna and the one Space Marine were trying to figure out what to do but after debating they decided once the queen was fully grown she and her new colony would be left behind while everyone else escaped from the planet.
When the day came to an end the kittens grew, there they grew quickly into adults. The queen grew up very fast and much to Jennifer's surprise the queen was already pregnant and began to give birth to her own young, Jennifer walked up to the room where the queen was and was grabbed by the queen who licked her and then hugged Jennifer, the queen didn't look as nasty as the old queen and could speak like the old queen.
"Mother........me and my colony can take care of ourselves.........you must go before my mind changes......I'll miss you and Ben my father" the queen said as she put Jennifer safely back where she was while Rob unlocked the rooms and let the creatures to the outside and into the wilds of the planet.
As for Jennifer and the others the left the planet after all the horrors and emotions it caused for all of them, the crew was feeling sad that they have to leave the planet, Jennifer had a tear dripping to her cheek, "I'm going to miss them, hopefully they'll will be okay." Jennifer said, "Yeah I hope so too." Ben said as he puts his arm around Jennifer's shoulder, they were looking out the window to see the white stars in black space, Jennifer hears the queen's voice in her mind "We'll start our world all over, but in more peaceful lives, mother I love you no matter what happens, I will never forgot you and that you and other mothers brought life to me and the colony, thank you." the queen said, Jennifer smiles and puts her head on Ben's shoulder.
Later on Jennifer and Ben would get married, as Barbara and Heather would also get married and Rose would marry George and Sofia would get married to Ernie.
Though that happened later on in their lives it doesn't explain what happened after they returned home a month after they left the alien planet and what would later on happen.

Well this went in a completely different direction I was expecting. All that classic Sci-Fi in the first parts, then the massive battle with the high kill count, then natural birth with kittens. A very interesting story indeed.

Thank you I wanted the story to be different rather than your typical alien pregnancy stories where all women bursting to death, I wanted think outside the box, mostly inspired by Alien and Prometheus but with the pregnancy explored. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Certainly an interesting story. I enjoyed the time spent setting up the story, I thought that part was well done. I enjoyed learning about the 'world' these men and women live in. Unfortunately I thought other parts of the story felt rushed; for example I was disappointed that more time wasn't spent on say the pregnancies and the births (though I understand the logistical issues of trying to write a coherent narrative with that many people pregnant, the way you laid it out was a nice clean approach). Another minor note, especially during the combat scenes, it became a bit challenging to follow what was going on.
Over all great ideas and a decently executed story. It was worth the read and I hope other stories are coming in the future.
