This was a speed painting I did last night just before I went to bed. Of course inspired by H.G. Wells War of the Worlds.I don't usually post speed paintings but since I've been doing a lot of them lately I thought I throw one in the gallery.

Awesome, we saw the movie, when I was in the 7th grade. The original movie...XD we laughed at it. One girl got pretty shocked and a little upset when they killed the priest.

Defenetly reminds me of "War of the worlds" because of the city design.
I always liked your speed paintings, and I hafta say that this one looks incredible

That's pretty much the best rendition of the tripods from the actual book that I've seen. I thought the movie didn't do it justice, but I freaking like this picture a lot. I need to do stuff like this, but I only have a mouse...

Have you watched the Spielberg movie?
I did, and then took the original novel (english) to read it. It's a great read, and pretty impressive that authors already had such sci fi thoughts in victorian ages.

Awesome, I recently finished the League of Extrordinary Gentlemen Comic, which involved the whole War of the Worlds thing, so this pic is twice as cool
