Character of the Week for CA.org .Meet Ṣalāḥ ad-Dīn - known in the west much more often as "Saladin". Military Commander, Conqueror, and ultimately a Sultan, he trounced the Franks quite a few times during the crusades!

Precisely why people shouldn't be RACIST TOWARDS KURDS. Or anyone for that matter. For some reason, the islamic world hates Kurds and no-one knows why, yet they owe a great deal of their success to several famous Kurds. That's the point he was trying to make.
