What cone and atmosphere are you firing in? This is a very nice piece.

This is cone 6 oxidation. Sorry for the long delay I've been very busy.

Overall this is a pretty vase. I personally don't like the green color, but that's only my opinion. I'm not sure what those spiral looking pieces are at the top, maybe handles? I assume you threw this piece and then trimmed it to have the ridges. I like the shape this gives the vase. At the top (white part), it appears that you trimmed it, but didn't smooth it out all the way leaving the spiral in place. Personally, I like my vases to b smooth, unless purposely left textured. Finally, the glaze. It looks like a sort of celadons with some spray work. I like the stipes in the center and the fading on the different segments of the vase. Overall, a nice vase, save for a few personal dislikes.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah the lugs on the top are handles. No trimming was involved on this piece; the textures where deliberately placed while throwing it.

Again I love your work. This is my favorite of this lot. I love the rib technique to create the "collapsible cup" illusion and the glaze.
