A couple windmills outside of Meyersdale, PA. I still don't understand why people want alternative energy but don't want windmills in their back yards. These things are beautiful.Related content

They're much prettier than billboards, and I've never heard of anyone bitching about a billboard going up...

A good argument. They are hugely popular, and do no good. Unless, you hooked solar panels to the billboards...

Hmmmm...that's actually a good idea. Because even if the solar panels only produced enough electricity to light the billboards at night, that would still make a difference.

True. Though they wouldn't work well out here. The wind farms are really good investments out in this area because its so windy.
