Why I like it?
When I look from a distance, the eyes are the first things I notice.
These pop out like they're dolls eyes. The mouth is as far away from the "golden ratio" as the eyes are and that's why they are on the exact opposite of the picture. While the nose divides the picture in two halfs, it is also clashing this "rule".
You did it, Nirrimi! You wiped all these rusted rules and created an astonishing picture by using the light. It makes Pixies hair glow and it's focus-range enhances the warm-soft atmosphere. And the colour and contrast you created in her eyes... well don't they look like a gemstone?
The narrow cropping accentuates her lovely face. And to stay a little technically: if you draw a line from one eye to the other and anoter line from each corner of her mouth, they build this lovely perspective. Only: you have to draw curved lines to match them and that creates this nice flow in the picture. Very Nice!
Last but not least I do have to mention her lovely freckles! I know she herself has some love-hate relationship with them, but nevertheless this picture would be spineless without them.
Conclusion: I LOVE this one (too).
You are giving me a hard time not to fall in love with that world you create - I hate you!
