First of all, five years, whew! I meant to make a status yesterday, but I kind of forgot. Anyways! Yesterday was my five year anniversary on this account! I've been using DA since high school, but made this later on since that old account had so much bad on it (and wanting to focus on fandom stuff, aka, mlp). I wish I could celebrate proper, but life, school, projects.... Maybe next year and I'll do something special like an animatic or something! By then, school should be over with so I'll have (theoretically) more time then!

Onto the present topic, SHIPS! It's Valentines day meaning love's in the air and what better time is there to talk ships?! I figured it'd be fun to draw some art of my favorite ships, initially my favorite ship and "crack ship" (I think they work, but they're definitely out there), then I had an idea to do one more since there was a running theme. For fun, I'm going to talk a bit about them (and because the other two need explaining, obviously not the Fluttercord one).

Fluttershy and Discord (Fluttercord): Do I really need to explain why they are perfect for each other? Sombrashy, as much as I love you and Dislestia too, Fluttercord has my heart. It's my favorite ship in the fandom! They are so perfect and cute in every way with how much of a softie Discord is and how tough Fluttershy is which is funny considering them! He'd move heaven and earth for her and she'd go to hell and back for him! In a way, they both help one another be better than who they are (probably more Discord than Fluttershy, but I could see him helping her be more confident). They are meant to be!

Tirek and Sombra (Sombrek): This started as a joke. When doing a reading for Conquest Episode 1's script, our Sombra and Tirek VAs, after a bout of banter, had a "make out" session. It was amazing and from there, a ship was born. We (us Sombrek supporters) went and googled ship art of them and flooded the chat with them; the anti Sombrek shippers were very salty. Somehow, I ended up falling in love with the idea to the point where I would ship them as an actual couple. I think they'd be pretty adorable, it'd be kind of a ragey ship where they argue and get mad but they aren't mad at each other, it's a loving type if you know what I mean. Lots of banter, teasing, ways they annoy each other yet can't help but be in love. Tirek would be the one to propose by yelling it at him because Sombra wouldn't stop trying to banter as Tirek tries to propose. I ended up drawing kids for them, well, sketching, but they'll be colored and so on someday. So far, I've written up a fair amount about them and Sombra and Tirek's relationship. When will they be complete? Who knows!

Blueblood and Chrysalis: Okay, this is going to take a little explaining. There was a contest asking for people to make next gen kids from villain ships but you couldn't use the princesses or the mane six.... Well, that's pretty much every ship out of the running, so I had to get creative. Though I was never able to make a child or anything for it, I ended up falling in love with the idea the more I thought about it; a completely random combination after racking my brain over possible pairings. I imagined that Chryssi's plan to get back at the princesses was to marry into the family, even if their nephew is far removed. After lots of romancing, guess who accidentally got pregnant? Things changed fast from Chrysalis getting exposed to Blueblood running away to be with her wanting to take some responsibility for once in his life. Chrysalis felt her heart twing and soon enough, they started to fall in love for real. Blueblood failed as horribly as you'd think he would, but he tried his best and Chrysalis respected that; also, she loves caring for her stallion, that mother instinct. Being a father to thousands of children isn't easy, so Chrysalis was very forgiving always trying to help where she could when he messes up... usually horribly, until he figured everything out and became the leader Chrysalis hoped he'd be. At the same time, he helped her to be kinder (shockingly) and less evil, also helping her enjoy the finer things in life like being pampered; he gets mad at her for working too hard even though he's part of the problem half the time. Eventually, amends were made with the princesses and Chrysalis was welcomed into the family! I think it'd be a sweet, royal couple with lots of fun shenanigans in store!

And that's all for now! I hope to one day maybe color these. It'd be nice if I could, if my art doesn't improve before I can which always tends to happen!
