From first glance, Evette is often seen with a cordial smile on her face. Regardless of the environment she is in, whether it be a public or formal setting, her demeanor remains light-hearted and welcoming. For her, enjoying the small things in life takes priority over stressing or sulking over the obstacles that life offers up.
With this type of mindset comes a fair share of faults. In many cases growing up, and even to this day, people have perceived Evette to lack the ability to take things seriously and/or have an inability to sympathize with others. While that is not necessarily the case, her desire to maintain a happy environment around her outweighs any inclination to try to convince people otherwise. Excluding this, Evette tends to act first and think later. Often acting on impulse and natural instinct, her thought processes and movements remain inconsistent, and for many, sporadic.
Brushing aside Evette’s initial impression, people will find that she is quite the character. Much like a child, she takes a great interest in fairytales, mythology, and folklores. She tends to like stories and themes that have darker twists/abstract ideas to them but enjoys them all nonetheless. Personally, she believes that creativity is something to be embraced and developed.

Bio:

Since infancy, Evette's parents would often take her and her siblings to live storytelling performances. While these shows included everything from elaborate costumes to awe inspiring backdrops, the one thing that never failed to mesmerize her remained the musicians that would play in the background. In particular, harpist. Within a few years of attending these productions, this admiration developed into fascination and soon after that, into passion. A drive to learn how to play the instrument and create the same atmosphere as these musicians enveloped the young child’s mind.
Her parents, noticing their child’s fascination for the harp, proposed the idea that she start to take lessons to learn how to play it properly (even if just as a hobby). Shortly after starting, it was prevalent that Evette had a knack for music, and while she was no prodigy, her passion, zest and drive provided with clear results. As a child, her parents prioritized her enjoyment over her progression-- though her advancement was by no means slow or at a standstill, they wanted to emphasize that creativity and taking delight in things in life was just as important, if not more, as being number one or surpassing others in certain attribute(s).
As the years passed, Evette's passion for music never subsided. She continued to take lessons to further her learning as a harpist while also taking up other instruments on the side, both, as a hobby and her parents' request. Like the musicians that inspired her, Evette also started to participate in ensembles that provided music for storytelling performances similar to ones that she grew up with. While music was something she had an ever-burning passion for, it remained a hobby for the beginning years of her music career. However over time, her parents started to think and plan for her future. It was clear that music was something that influenced her life, and there were no signs of this dominance vanquishing anytime soon. So in turn, her parents enrolled her into classes and lessons that revolved around classical music. In the chance that she wanted to pursue a career in music later on, they wanted their daughter to be properly equipped for that path.
Her parents would soon realize that these lessons would serve their daughter well. Throughout her adolescent years, Evette grew to just as enamored by classical music as she was towards the celtic-inspired/fantasy-esque music that lured her in as a child. Within time, Evette was taking part in and attending various types of performances and competitions that introduced her to a whole new side of the music world. Continuing though her young adult years, she became fascinated and desired to explore more of this atmosphere. There was such a variety of emotion and passion emitted from her fellow performers, and the music was always evolving…changing— no two pieces were exactly alike, and music provided bountiful opportunities where creativity could strive… (where she had a possibility to excel).
When it came time for her to decide how she wanted to further her education as an (young) adult, she chose to apply to an undergraduate program at London’s very own Clefford Conservatory. Here, she continues her studies and is aiming for a career in performance.

Though, Evette being Evette, this could change by the end of her journey at Clefford…

Evette’s preference in music and playing style varies. She tends to lean towards songs that carry a whimsical air within the notes, but that should not misinterpreted and used synonymously with the words dainty and/or slow-paced— though, they could be applicable to certain songs. Evette enjoys displaying and listening to music that provides the audience with an assortment of different emotions. She does not want the audience to just label her performances/the pieces as just “good” or “bad,” but instead, wants to leave an impression on them that they did not have prior to listening. Much like her personality, the pieces she chooses to indulge herself in are light-hearted and/or keep people on their toes— sometimes even wanting more.
