While the Pioneer Zephyr is a gorgeous piece of kit, it wasn't the only Zephyr I've seen while. specifically the Nebraska Zephyr built two years after the Pioneer. One major difference being that had a separate locomotive vs a permanently attached one. The locomotive pulling the train is Chicago Burlington & Quincy E5A 9911A. It was built in 1940 along with a b unit.
