I wish I could get away with wearing Hot Topic-esque accesories like her: I have these lacy fingerless gloves, and my mom was not happy that I wore just one with an equally lacy tank-top to college one day.

I'm very happy with her reaction...It seems more realistic to me: you find yourself in a room full of the things you love most...how couldn't you be excited and happy?? Even the thoughts of not being home and how/who created this room for you will come later..
