They're like the ribs of a ship...I often think of churches as arks, the people inside them are being carried safely through the turbulent flood-waters of the world.

Lovely photograph. I was in Worcester about 6 months ago and had a visit to both the guildhall and the cathedral.

Spent a very enjoyable morning looking over that Cathedral, it is magnificent! I just wish I was able to get into the garden in the cloisters.

It really is. Even the chapter house is magnificent.
I think ink I saw the cloisters, but I don’t think I photographed there
