Ceilings are my favourite parts of the inside of a Cathedral. You never know what you will see until you look up!Black and white this time, so the detail can be seen.

They're like the ribs of a ship...I often think of churches as arks, the people inside them are being carried safely through the turbulent flood-waters of the world.

It's a nice cathedral. I only popped in for a few minutes, It was a break in the long motorway drive at the end of my holiday

Spent a very enjoyable morning looking over that Cathedral, it is magnificent! I just wish I was able to get into the garden in the cloisters.
