Gentle- He's a very soft-speaking, kind individual. He looks out for his friends-and even strangers, if they're in need- and does whatever he can to comfort them.

Wary- Because of his rough past, Christian is a bit hesitant around strangers at first. He's very cautious and not really the one to start up a conversation with new people unless he really, desperately wants to talk to someone-usually a person he admires from afar, or someone he looks up to. He struggles with trust, though, so it takes time and patience to befriend him.

Self-Conscious- Christian tends to be very sensitive when it comes to his appearance, seeing how he doesn't dress like your typical male. He just feels more comfortable in girl's clothes, though on occasion, he will wear boys clothing, but it's very rare. He's dealt with lots of teasing and bullying because of his choice in clothing, and gets very upset-even to the point of crying-if someone makes a negative comment about his wardrobe, or himself.

Loyal- If you've managed to befriend him, he will be by your side and never let you go. Christian is very determined to keep his friends when he gets them, and always supports them. He's always trying to boost others' confidence by complimenting them and encouraging them in whatever they do. He's just a very loving, sweet person once you get to know him.

History
-Christian DePaul is the only boy in his family. Living with his mom and two sisters-one older, one younger-, it was always hard for him to feel like he fit in. His father left his mother before his younger sister was born. He was only 4 years old.
Growing up in a family of all women, Christian had a hard time connecting with the boys in his neighborhood. He tended to play with his sisters more than anyone, and didn't like all the rough-and-tumble games the boys around him would play. They would tease him and call him a girl-some would even be offended that he wouldn't play with them and start bullying him. So his mother began to homeschool him.
As time passed, Christian began to get closer to his sisters-which actually started to annoy them, seeing how he was a boy and doing girl stuff was weird-so much so that he began to ask to borrow their clothes. He felt comfortable wearing their skirts and blouses, and thought he looked good. Maybe if he dressed like a girl, people would think he was a girl and stop teasing him. At that point, his oldest sister thought he was weird, and began to tease him for it. Their mother caught her laughing at Christian for wearing one of the girls' skirts and she immediately scolded her.
"If Christian feels more comfortable in clothes like this, then that is his choice. I will love him no matter what he wears or does, and you should to."

His mother's love and affection is what inspired him to evolve into Sylveon, which only made his situation worse. If they thought he was girly then, what would they think of him now? He got mad at his mother, wondering why this had to happen to him, why he couldn't just be a normal boy like the ones in his neighborhood. His mother felt sad for her son. "Christian, you don't need to seek other's approval. You're perfect the way you are. You're unique. People don't understand unique things-they're afraid of change. So they take it out on you. But you're special, Christian. Don't let their words make you feel guilty for being who you are."

Despite his mother's boost of confidence, Christian still felt weak and small as he moved on in life. He got older, and started going to school again, and the bullying got worse. Some days he'd come home with black eyes or bruises, and spend the rest of his day in his room, wondering why no one understood his choice. He wasn't saying he was a girl. He just wanted to look like one. He just wanted to feel pretty, so people wouldn't look at him and think of him as a freak.

His mother was starting to wonder what she was going to do with him... she couldn't keep sending him to this school. She couldn't keep putting her son through this torment. It wasn't long after she started looking into private schools that she found the Armonia Institute.

"It is here, that special Pokémon will learn about balance, courage and above all, harmony. We shall learn how to use our gifts to forge a better future together."

Upon reading that, his mother knew that this was where Christian needed to be. She showed him the information about the school, and, though wary at first, Christian agreed that he'd try this new school. It definitely sounded better than where he was now.

-He doesn't have ribbons because I hate drawing ribbons and I don't want them attached to him it's stupid he chooses not to wear them. They're too long and just get in the way.
